Diverse Talent is delighted to be supporting our global client as they seek to expand their finance teams and appoint an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their headquarters. The Role As the accounts payable assistant your role will be varied and will require you to be highly organised, and methodical and have the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines. Matching, batching, verification, and scanning of invoices. Resolution of outstanding queries internally as well as externally. Statement reconciliations are to be completed on a monthly basis. Job Responsibilities
  • Receipt, opening and sorting all posts for the Accounts Payable department.
  • Invoice verification and scanning of all supplier invoices and statements.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing and payment of invoices.
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent
  • Computer Literate, with Microsoft office proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum of 12 months experience working in an Accounts Payable position
